Sangiovese Bertinoro

The most famous of the local red wines is Sangiovese: the story goes that the Capuchin friars from Santarcangelo, around the year 1600, produced this wine and called it Sangiovese, from ‘Sanguis Jovis’ (the Blood of Jupiter) for its ruby red colour and its hints of violet and red fruit.
From harvest 2011, our Sangiovese Riserva will be Romagna Doc Sangiovese Riserva Bertinoro! Ageing period 3 years...on the market from 2014 on!

This year: larger booth, room enough for 8 wine producers, and positive attendance figures: Vinitaly made public that the number of visitors has increased, and foreign visitors figures grew 42% with respect to 2010.
